AFES employs staff to help build evangelical student groups that share the gospel with students and encourage members in their Christian growth. AFES releases various publications such as Salt Magazine and Prayernet. Over 60 students groups from campuses in every state and territory are linked with this national body.
It conducts an annual National Training Event at Canberra in December each year. This attracts thousands of students from all around Australia. We gather to study God’s word and be trained for a short mission, which is held in partnership with churches in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC.
